Many people are rightfully concerned about the confluence of three “malefics” Mars, Saturn and Pluto in Capricorn, begun on March 17th. This triple doozie remains in Capricorn until May 15th-16, 2018, (depending on where you live in world), and returning for a second round between  August 12th, (at night in USA) and Sept 10th, 2018 (evening in the USA).

Don’t forget that malefic have good sides. In fact, we couldn’t live without them! Muscles (in part) are ruled by Mars and bones by Saturn. Together, they signal courage plus strength! Capricorn governs the knees, skin, bones, ligaments, tendons, nails, cuticles. Capricorn also has a strong influence on the gall bladder (with Leo,  Virgo, Saturn and Mars).
    
Mars and Saturn are drying and gouty when together in this sign.  Those with problem issues in these areas can hypothetically preempt issues by paying attention to appropriate (and physician guided) lubrication and bodily elimination of toxins. One often sees mineral deposits in the joints or skin and gall bladder issues to those prone. Capricorn’s opposite sign Cancer, governs the stomach and mucous membranes. For those prone, it is wise to be attentive to the acid-alkaline balance of stomach and potential digestive enzyme deficiency. Cooling water and demulcent herbs and lubricating surface oils balance this planetary combination. Any brewing gum or dental problems should be attended to (with a dentist’s overview).

Capricorn typically symbolizes authority and the big, capitalistic business syndicates. Needless to say, this conjunction gives more power to capitalistic forces, builders, contractors,drillers, miners, etc; and therefore is potentially destructive to our beautiful earth. Those that love the earth have their work cut out for them. Two simple things anyone can do is: a) plant trees; b) stop cutting them down for trivial reasons. 

Weather: 
Capricorn, (when under planetary affliction) is associated with droughts, famines, low grain stores, water shortages and infestation of rodents.  Proaction is prevention.  If humanity and agribusiness do not take heed, this current period may “set up” far worse problems in 2019 and especially 2020 when Saturn, Jupiter, Pluto and the South Node eclipses all join in Capricorn. Yikes! You think we have problems now? It’s time for “all hands on deck”. This is a fine time to get that family farm together and act to preserve threatened farmlands and orchards.
