Patient-Practitioner Vital Force Exchange & Astrological Synastry

We all prefer some foods, colors, clothes, and people better than we do others. This is normal. All forms, including people, are composed of beautifully complex, interwoven streams of both “fixed” and moving vibrations. This is so similar to music! Vibrationally, each one of us is, in fact, a unique vibrational symphony. As per pleasant musical chords, some vibrations happily harmonize with our own, whereas others inwardly “sound” discordant. This essential concept is typically ignored in medical relationships. Vibrational harmony is relatively easy to assess between natal charts.

It is a metaphysical principle that any two beings in close or prolonged contact exchange their vital energies. Some people are “givers” with a surplus of Vital Force. We often see this in those chiropractors and bodyworkers who possess warm, thickly padded hands. Conversely, others are “takers”, unknowingly ‘hoovering’ up the surplus Vital Force of those within their close orbit. Their victim falls exhausted or depressed after prolonged contact, often a day or two later, none the wiser!  However, most of us common folk are “neutrals”, with Vital Force exchanges varying by contact.  Because of its supreme importance to every concern, I am intentionally capitalizing “Vital Force”.

Sometimes a particular doctor cannot budge a patient’s condition…or perhaps the patient fast declines under their care! Then, a second physician happens by and quickly heals the same patient. This example extends to couples as well. One woman struggles unsuccessfully for years to become pregnant by her long-suffering husband. Then, one fine day, she is instantly impregnated by the mailman. One can see these astrological compatibilities in a simple comparison between the two natal charts! In the business, astrologers call this “synastry”.

Type and Amount: The qualitative type and quantitative level of Vital Force exchange between any two people are accurately displayed within the harmonies of their natal charts. Is the secret key to healing, in fact, the vibrational harmony between practitioner and patient? The work and methods of the great healer, William E. Gray demonstrated this to satisfaction. Gray performed many miracles using precise elemental harmonies, (that constitute types of vibration and specific species of Vital Force).  Although Gray was not an astrologer, and never mentioned charts, his stated concepts are basic to astrology.

Gray taught that spouses shared the best Vital Force exchange when born within trining ‘decans’ of the same element (Fire, Earth, Air, or Water). A decan is a ten-degree section of a zodiac sign. (There are three decans per sign - 36 declans in total!). These ideas are nothing new to astrologers.

In Gray’s system, the sign ‘trining’ your own - by shared sign, element and decan - provided your personal, healing, “mating fuel”. All three signs of shared element exist in a trine relationship and are said to ‘trine’ one another. However, a person born in one’s same sign, although of same element, was according to Gray, somewhat neutralizing.

Everyone has two trining signs to their birth sign. Secondly, we all have two trining ten-day periods within those two signs. Example: The three fire signs are Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius. Aries has two trining signs of same element (Leo and Sagittarius). Leo’s two trining signs are Sagittarius and Aries. Sagittarius’ two trining signs, (and therefore those that supply Gray’s “mating fuel”) are Leo and Aries.

Gray mainly discussed this exchange system in reference to spouses, and while healing, projected the needful elemental energies required by his patient. Apparently, Gray could access the vibrations of all 36 zodiacal decans, as needed!

Would this same elemental energy exchange system work between the birth dates of healer and patient? Empirically, I’ve found it works quite well. All three “miraculous” healings I’ve witnessed occurred between a healer and patient born on close 1-2˚ trines between their natal Sun degrees. These occurred years before ever hearing of Gray’s remarkable methods. Statistically, most healers will not trine the birth Sun of their patient. Neither is it necessary for your doctor to be born at trine to your birth decan in order to assist your cure! However, it’s quite the asset if they do!

William E. Gray performed many stunning healing feats by simply attuning to the patient’s main life vibration, or “supply line”. He claimed this was invariably the vibration of their precise birth decan (and therefore, element). But how did he attune, receive, and resend their life vibration back to them? First, Gray put his head on the patient’s chest and attuned himself to their main “supply line” vibration. To reiterate, he reported this to invariably be that of their birth decan. Then, with his hands, in a manner not well recorded, he infused their own vibration back to them. Thus, he refueled their birth supply line Vital Force. Multiple “impossible” healings of serious diseases were performed in this manner, some nearly instantly. These are documented in his biography cited below.

Regretfully, he never told us precisely how he felt, identified, received, and then infused his patient’s own Vital Force back into them (most of us are not so talented). Although leaving us this invaluable healing key, Gray is no longer here to explain further. Cogitating upon this conundrum, I’ve developed some experimental methods for collecting your personal birth day and trining decan vibration via water, in my book Astrology & Your Vital Force: Healing with Cosmic Rays, and DNA Resonance.

Gray’s own book “Know Your Magnetic Field” should be augmented with his astonishing biography “Born to Heal” by Ruth Montgomery. These books changed my life, particularly the biography, inclusive of Gray’s same information, but with more detail, background, and eyewitness accounts by a well-respected head surgeon who worked closely with Gray.

Back to our subject. If Gray, and basic elemental astrology, are right, it would seem helpful to find physicians whose birth dates trine your own, by same element, within the same decan (as long as they are not simultaneously born on your natal South Node or Saturn). If you are not an astrologer, then find one to compare the charts for you.

How can I discover my physician’s or surgeon’s birth date and year”?  Ask them, or look them up under licensing. Most of my clients have provided me with lists of surgeons’ birthdays, as needed. Day and year are all you need to compare the basics! The entire chart is preferred, but not needed for comparing birth element and decan.

It is easy to compare two birthdays to discover if they are within same element (Fire, Earth, Air, or Water). Next, check the degrees - are the natal Sun degrees positioned in the first, second, or third decans of their respective signs?  A handy chart of signs by element is provided below. Academy subscribers can access their decanates (decans) chart in the FREE academy resources.

In my experience, the two compared natal Suns can be in different decans, provided that they share a same element, and are trining within a close orb. An example would be that of a healer born at 9˚ Taurus ( in the first decan of an Earth sign), and the patient is born at 11˚ Virgo (two degrees into second decan of a fellow Earth sign). In this case, the patient is born just over the line into the following decan (one-third of a sign). Either way, there appears a strong, harmonious chord of “mating fuel” exchanged between the two healers and patient. Continue to respect Gray’s finding, but be confident that a close Sun-Sun trining orb of 0-3˚ also works well in practice.

The Four Elemental Trines
Fire:
Aries, Leo, Sagittarius
Earth: Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn
Air: Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Water: Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces

Natural Affection: We also have the important principle of Natural Affection. If you don’t like your healer, move on. If you can’t stand your patient, please refer them to another practitioner.

Third, we have lifestyle. If possible, select a healer that is harmonious with your spiritual practice, dietary habits, politics, or whatever else is a deal breaker for you in any relationship. Vibrational conflict can, for instance, occur between a healer and patient frothing over opposing political candidates!

Fourth, do you like your doctor’s office? You can really use your vibrational training here!  How do you feel in the waiting room? Do you like the decor and the music? Are you treated well? Does the process flow? Do you like them? Or, do you feel a weird chill when they walk in to greet you?

Recently, I visited a medical office in one of those new, behemothic medical buildings. My personal tastes were immediately affronted by the uncomfortable decor and loud, harsh music. The waiting room was cramped, incommodious, and dark. The sullen desk clerks were snappy and rude. The doctor was late, unfriendly, hurried, and provided a negative assessment. She quickly suggested an expensive, unnecessary, and potentially dangerous procedure, scheduling this for just two weeks hence, at an absurd hour of the morning.

Following my training to move away from personally discordant vibrations, I visited a second specialist, positioned directly upstairs from the first. Her office was gracious, light, and beautiful (to me). I enjoyed the spectacular view of the river, and wall hangings of pleasant bucolic scenes. The music was calming. The chairs were commodious. Cheerful clerks awaited me. The physician was concerned and polite. I relaxed into a feeling of natural affection and trust, thinking…”ah”… “this is the right doctor”.  She performed a simple office adjustment and I was fast cured.

Besides Vital Force harmony (via element and decan), plus Natural Affection, we have the whole chart to consider. I’ve provided a detailed chapter regarding physician-patient between-chart astrological harmonies and disharmonies in Medical Astrology for Health Practitioners: A Healer’s Guide. This useful chapter assists astrologically inclined patients in selecting an optimally harmonious physician, and for physicians to avoid suits! For instance, it is hypothetically unwise to accept the advice of a healer whose natal Mercury is conjunct our natal South Node! Whereas, if your patient has their natal Mercury situated on your natal South Node, they probably won’t hear a word you say (correctly).

It is my personal belief that a mediocre physician, who enjoys a strong astrological harmony with their patient, (and/or a natural affection moves between them), will outperform the accoladed physician, born with discordant harmonies to their patient’s natal chart, (and/or who doesn’t like their patient).

In the Western allopathic paradigm, the doctor and/or the medicine “cure” the patient. The naturopathic view designates the patient’s Vital Force as a healer. The doctor and medicine stimulate this intelligent, living force to do the work. It would seem thus essential for the Vital Force of the healer to align harmoniously with that of the patient.

Such is the mysterious basis of many “miracle cures”.  A restored and invigorated Vital Force is a foremost master key to healing…and a wonderful thing besides!”
